OnePlus Turbo Specs Leak Ahead of Launch
OnePlus Turbo has appeared in fresh leaks ahead of its expected launch in China. The upcoming smartphone is said to be part of a new gaming-focused lineup from OnePlus. Recent information shared by tipsters reveals display, performance, battery, and storage details. A new AnTuTu listing has also added weight to the performance claims surrounding the smartphone.
Display and Design Details
The OnePlus Turbo is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch flat display sourced from BOE. The panel is expected to use LTPS technology and offer a 1.5K resolution. It may also support a 165Hz refresh rate, which suggests a strong focus on smooth visuals and gaming performance. The flat display design aligns with current gaming phone trends.
In terms of appearance, the OnePlus Turbo could launch in Lone Wolf Black, Wilderness Green, and Chasing Light Silver colour options. The phone is expected to weigh around 217 grams, which places it on the heavier side. This weight may be linked to the large battery inside the device.
Performance and Storage Options
According to leaks, the OnePlus Turbo will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. This processor is positioned below flagship silicon but still offers high-end performance. It is designed to balance power efficiency and sustained gaming output.
The phone is rumoured to launch in four RAM and storage variants. These include 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, 16GB RAM with 256GB storage, and a top-end 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The device may use LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster performance and data access.
Battery and Lineup Expansion
One of the standout features of the OnePlus Turbo is its battery. The handset is expected to pack a 9,000mAh-class battery. This capacity is significantly larger than what most performance phones currently offer. It suggests longer gaming sessions and extended daily usage without frequent charging.
Leaks also hint at another OnePlus Turbo variant. This model may use a Snapdragon 7-series processor instead. However, it could retain the same 165Hz display and large battery. This indicates OnePlus may standardise key features across the Turbo lineup.
AnTuTu Benchmark Score Revealed
An alleged OnePlus Turbo listing has surfaced on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform. The device carries the model number PLU110, which has been previously linked to the OnePlus Turbo. The listing shows the phone running Android 16.
The benchmark score reportedly stands at 2,609,327 points. While this score is slightly lower than the OnePlus 15R, it still reflects strong flagship-level performance. The listing also confirms the presence of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage in the tested unit.
More official details are expected to emerge as the OnePlus Turbo launch draws closer.
