Google’s Brings AI ‘Flight Deals’ For Smarter Travel Planning

AI-Powered Travel Planning Tool Launched Globally

Google is expanding its AI-powered Flight Deals tool to users across more than 200 countries. The global rollout now covers major markets like the U.K., Germany, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, and Indonesia. The tool works in over 60 languages. Moreover, Google wants to make finding cheap flights faster. Users only need to describe where, when, and how they want to travel. Then the system instantly pulls real-time deals from Google Flights.

How Flight Deals Works for Travelers

The experience stays simple. Users share trip details with Google Search. Then AI sorts through pricing and routes to show the best bargains available. It shortens the search time and reduces the manual effort of comparing flights across platforms.
Furthermore, the tool now supports flexible search inputs. People can search by broad interests or fixed plans, making it useful for both spontaneous and long-term travelers.

Canvas Brings Smarter Trip Planning

Google is also expanding Canvas inside AI Mode. The tool first helped users build study plans. Now it organizes travel plans with real-time data.
Users only need to select “Create with Canvas.” Then they instantly see a travel dashboard. It includes flight options, hotel suggestions, maps, photos, reviews, and activity recommendations.
Additionally, Canvas helps refine choices. Travelers can ask follow-up questions like whether a hotel closer to brunch spots is better than one near a hiking trail. The tool updates the plan without losing earlier inputs.

Agentic Booking Reaches More People

Google is also expanding agentic booking in AI Mode. After testing with Labs users, it now reaches all U.S. users.
People can request restaurant reservations with specifics like cuisine, party size, date, and time. Then AI Mode checks multiple reservation platforms and displays real-time availability.
Soon, Google plans to allow full booking of flights and hotels inside AI Mode. Users will compare schedules, photos, prices, and amenities without switching tabs.

What This Means for Travelers

Google continues to push AI deeper into search and daily tasks. With global Flight Deals and smarter planning tools, trip discovery becomes faster and easier. The expansion signals Google’s shift toward a more agent-like search experience that assists users throughout each step of their journey.
