BGMI 4.1 Update to Roll Out on November 13

BGMI 4.1 Update Brings Penguin Town, Snow Festival, and Tactical Upgrades This Week

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) maker Krafton is ready to launch the BGMI 4.1 update this week. The rollout is expected to begin on November 13, according to InsideSport. The new update carries a winter-inspired theme with fresh gameplay elements, new tactical tools, and limited-time seasonal events.

Winter Takes Over with Penguin Town

The highlight of the BGMI 4.1 update is the Penguin Town map, a frosty battleground designed for both close-quarters and long-range fights. Players will find elevated terrains, new hiding spots, and a unique Fish Rocket Launcher that adds explosive power to combat.

This snowy environment encourages tactical play, making positioning and quick decisions more crucial than ever.

Snow Festival Brings Icy Challenges

To match the winter theme, Krafton is introducing the Snow Festival event. This limited-time mode transforms Erangel into a frozen battlefield filled with icy obstacles and new environmental mechanics.

Players can use Ice Gadgets to manipulate terrain—slowing down enemies or creating slippery zones to escape danger. There’s also a Flamethrower to melt icy barriers, giving teams a strategic edge.

New Tactical Tools and Seasonal Changes

The update adds new tactical gear, including the Fin Tuna Syringe, which temporarily boosts movement speed for fast-paced encounters. Seasonal missions will be available throughout the Snow Festival, offering rewards for completing winter-themed challenges.

With this rollout, Krafton will retire the Spooky Soiree and other Halloween modes, marking a fresh shift from the spooky season to a frosty one.

When to Expect the Update

The BGMI 4.1 update is expected to roll out in phases starting November 13, reaching all devices within a few days. Players can expect downtime before the patch goes live, followed by a new in-game season focused on strategy, speed, and survival.
