Tecno has launched the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G in India, bringing a battery-first smartphone to the mid-range segment. The new model succeeds last year’s Pova Curve 5G and focuses on long endurance, a high-refresh-rate display, and the latest Android version at launch.
The phone pairs an unusually large 8,000mAh battery with a curved AMOLED screen, a combination still rare in the sub-₹30,000 price bracket.
Price and availability
The Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G price in India starts at ₹27,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option is priced at ₹29,999. Sales will begin on February 20 at 12 PM via Flipkart.
The handset will be available in Storm Titanium, Melting Silver, and Mystic Purple colour options. As part of the launch offers, buyers can get bank discounts of up to ₹3,000.
What display does the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G offer?
The phone features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel delivers up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness and offers a 93.18 percent screen-to-body ratio. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display.
Despite housing a large battery, the phone remains slim at 7.42mm and weighs 192 grams.
Hardware and software details
The smartphone runs Android 16-based HiOS 16 out of the box. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Users can also expand RAM virtually up to 16GB using unused storage.
For graphics, the processor is paired with an Arm G610 MC2 GPU.
