Sennheiser Launches HDB 630; Combining Wireless Convenience With Wired Hi-Res Audio

Sennheiser HDB 630 brings audiophile sound to everyday listening

Sennheiser has launched the HDB 630, premium headphones designed for listeners who demand pure, high-resolution sound on the go. Priced at USD 499 (approx. ₹41,500), the HDB 630 blends Sennheiser’s studio-grade engineering with travel-ready comfort and features.

Built for audiophiles on the move

The HDB 630 builds on the ergonomic design of Sennheiser’s popular MOMENTUM 4. It introduces a new custom acoustic system tuned for focused, high-fidelity listening. HDB 630 also features a 42 mm dynamic transducer made at Sennheiser’s Tullamore facility in Ireland. As a result, you get detailed audio with smooth mids, realistic vocals, and fast dynamics — true to the original studio recording.

High-resolution sound, wired or wireless

Sennheiser’s new headphone supports 24-bit, 96 kHz playback via USB Type-C or analog cable. For wireless users, Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive codec ensures strong, stable connections with studio-quality sound.

What makes the HDB 630 stand out is its included USB Type-C transmitter dongle. This enables high-resolution wireless audio even on phones that don’t natively support it. Sennheiser says this instantly upgrades nearly 80% of smartphones for high-res streaming — a big leap for portable audio lovers.

Smarter sound controls in your hands

The Smart Control Plus app adds new tools for personalization. Listeners can fine-tune sound using a Parametric Equalizer, a first for Sennheiser, offering full control over frequency bands and filters.

There’s also a Crossfeed feature, inspired by Sennheiser’s flagship HE 1, that simulates a natural speaker-like soundstage. Users can share their EQ presets through the app. A future update will even allow sharing through QR codes, creating a community-driven sound experience.

Comfort and convenience for travel

The HDB 630 offers up to 60 hours of battery and delivers seven hours of listening from a 10-minute charge. Its Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) keeps ambient sound low, while transparency mode allows users to hear their surroundings when needed.

For calls, built-in microphones handle clear voice pickup. Comfort is also a highlight with Japanese Protein Leatherette headband made by IDEATEX™, known for its softness and durability.

The headphone ships with a travel case, USB Type-C charging cable, 3.5 mm analog cable, airline adapter, and the USB-C Bluetooth transmitter. This makes it ideal for frequent flyers and commuters.

The Sennheiser HDB 630 is now available through Sennheiser’s official channels worldwide, giving music lovers a new way to experience uncompromised sound wherever they are.
