Samsung has launched its latest F-series smartphone in India — the Galaxy F36 5G. Priced at ₹17,499 for the 6GB + 128GB model, this budget 5G phone packs AI features, triple cameras, and a leather finish. The top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs ₹18,999.
The phone will be available starting July 29 at 12PM, via Flipkart and Samsung India’s online store. Buyers can choose from Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black — all featuring a soft leather rear design.
Full-HD+ AMOLED Display With Gorilla Glass Victus+
The Galaxy F36 5G offers a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, it uses a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera. The design is functional but looks modern with the leather-finish touch.
Exynos 1380 and Vapour Chamber Cooling
Under the hood, the F36 5G is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with a Mali-G68 MP5 GPU. It supports up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, expandable via microSD.
To avoid overheating, Samsung has included vapour chamber cooling, often seen in more premium models.
50MP Triple Camera Setup With OIS and 4K Video
On the back, the Galaxy F36 5G sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and 4K video recording. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 13MP front camera, which also supports 4K.
Loaded With AI Features Like Circle to Search and Gemini Live
Samsung has loaded the F36 5G with several AI-powered tools, including Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini Live. Other features include Object Eraser, AI Edit Suggestions, and Image Clipper — all aimed at boosting creativity and ease of use.
Android 15 Out of the Box With 7 Years of Updates
The phone ships with One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung has promised six Android OS upgrades and seven years of security patches, a first in this price segment.

The device houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and connectivity features like Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, and GPS + GLONASS.
