Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 Glasses are finally available in India. Meta has opened sales across top optical stores and the Ray-Ban India website from December 2. The new model arrives as the successor to the first-generation glasses with major upgrades in camera, design choices, and battery performance.
Price Starts at Rs. 39,900
The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 Glasses price in India begins at Rs. 39,900. They come in Headliner, Skyler, and Wayfarer styles. Moreover, Meta offers new colour options like Shiny Cosmic Blue, Shiny Mystic Violet, and Shiny Asteroid Grey. However, the company has not shared details on prescription, sun, polarised, or Transitions lens options yet.
3K Video Recording Comes to Smart Glasses
The biggest upgrade appears in the camera system. The smart glasses feature a 12-megapixel camera with an LED recording indicator on both sides of the frame. Now, they can record videos in up to 3K resolution at 30fps. The photo resolution stays at 3,024 x 4,032 pixels. Meta will add slow-motion and hyperlapse modes through future updates.
Conversation Focus Enhances Calls
The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 Glasses include a new Conversation Focus feature. It uses the open-ear speakers to amplify the voice of the person speaking to the user. Additionally, the five-microphone array has been tuned for stronger noise reduction and better clarity during calls and recordings.
Battery Life Sees a Major Boost
Meta claims the Gen 2 model delivers up to eight hours of usage on a single charge. The charging case offers up to 48 hours of additional power. This is nearly double the battery life of the first-generation glasses, making daily usage more practical for creators and professionals.
A Stronger Push for AI Wearables in India
The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 Glasses combine stylish eyewear with smarter onboard AI features. With the India launch, Meta is positioning its wearable lineup for wider adoption among users who want hands-free content capture and smarter communication tools.
