The Poco F8 lineup just took smartphone audio to a new level with a surprise twist. Poco partnered with Bose to tune the stereo speakers on both the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra. Yet, the Ultra steals the spotlight because it adds a dedicated subwoofer for deeper and more powerful bass.

Moreover, the phones offer two sound modes from Bose engineers. Dynamic mode boosts the low end, while Balanced mode focuses on clearer vocals and an even soundstage.

Poco F8 Ultra Packs Bigger Hardware

The Poco F8 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for top-tier performance. It features a large 6.9-inch OLED display, a triple 50MP rear camera setup, and wireless charging. Additionally, the phone includes an IP68 rating and a massive battery above 6,000mAh for longer usage.

Poco F8 Pro Keeps Things Competitive

The Poco F8 Pro arrives with last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a smaller 6.59-inch display. It also carries slightly toned-down camera hardware. However, it still offers an IP68 rating and a big battery, making it a strong option for users who prefer lower pricing.

Pricing and New Tablets Join the Lineup

Poco has priced the F8 Pro from $579, while the F8 Ultra starts at $729. Additionally, an early bird offer cuts $50 off. Poco also announced two affordable tablets — Pad X1 and Pad M1 — targeting entertainment users with high-resolution displays and Dolby Atmos speakers.
