The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is finally stepping into the spotlight. The company has confirmed that the tablet will launch in India on December 17 and will go on sale the next day. OnePlus says this device aims at students and young working users who need a smooth, long-lasting daily machine. And this year’s upgrade looks more serious than expected.
Dimensity 7300 Ultra Helps the Tablet Level Up
OnePlus has equipped the Pad Go 2 with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra, a new 4nm processor built for better efficiency and stable performance. The company also mentions that the tablet carries TÜV SÜD certification, promising smooth usage for up to four years.
A recent listing also hints at 8GB RAM and Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, which should help the tablet feel fluid in everyday tasks.
Big Battery, Faster Charging, Longer Playback
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 packs a huge 10,050mAh battery, which is a big jump for this series. It supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. OnePlus claims the tablet can deliver 15 hours of video playback, 53 hours of music, and 60 days of standby.
Moreover, it supports reverse cable charging, allowing users to top up smaller devices when needed.
A New Stylus Arrives for Productivity and Creativity
For the first time, the Pad Go lineup will support a stylus. Called the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo, it is designed for note-takers and creative users. OnePlus says a 10-minute charge can power the stylus for half a day, which makes it handy for quick work sessions.
Brighter Display With a Pressing Focus on Eye Comfort
The tablet features a 12.1-inch display with 284ppi density and 900 nits peak brightness in High Brightness Mode. It covers 98% DCI-P3, uses a 7:5 aspect ratio, and pushes an 88.5% screen-to-body ratio.
It also supports Dolby Vision and comes with TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 4.0, adding more comfort for long study or work hours.
Open Canvas Multitasking Gets Better
On the software side, OnePlus is bringing its Open Canvas system to the tablet. It supports split-screen mode and lets users switch between multiple windows with ease. More details are expected at the launch event.
