OnePlus Gears Up for Nord 5, Nord CE 5 Launch in India
The OnePlus Summer Launch Event is scheduled for July 8, and the brand is ready to reveal the latest smartphones in its Nord lineup — the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5.
Both devices are expected to pack significant upgrades across performance, camera, and display.
OnePlus Nord 5 Expected Price and Launch Timeline
While OnePlus has not officially announced prices yet, industry insiders suggest the Nord 5 may cost between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000.
Meanwhile, the more affordable Nord CE 5 is expected to be priced around ₹25,000.
Both smartphones are likely to go up for pre-orders shortly after the launch, with retail and online availability beginning within a few days.
OnePlus Nord 5: Premium Chipset, Bigger Display, Better Cooling
The OnePlus Nord 5 will be the first Nord phone to feature a Snapdragon 8-series processor, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. It will also pack LPDDR5X RAM to enhance multitasking and efficiency.
On the camera front, the phone will sport a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main camera with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The 50MP JN5 front camera will support autofocus and 4K video recording at 60fps.
A 6.83-inch AMOLED display is expected, likely offering an immersive visual experience. For heat management, the phone is set to include a 7,300mm² vapour chamber for improved cooling.
OnePlus Nord CE 5: Strong Mid-Range Offering with MediaTek Power
The OnePlus Nord CE 5 will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, promising solid performance in the mid-range segment.
It is expected to come with a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, offering vibrant colors and smooth visuals.
On the camera side, the Nord CE 5 will house a dual rear setup with a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide. The 16MP selfie camera will handle front-facing photography and video calls.
