OnePlus 15R Teaser Goes Live
OnePlus has quietly teased the OnePlus 15R on its India website. The microsite now shows the device under the “Coming Soon” tag. The teaser carries the same “Power On. Limits Off” message used for the OnePlus 15. Moreover, the early reveal suggests that the brand is preparing a quick expansion of its flagship series in India.
New Colours and a Familiar Yet Tweaked Camera Deco
The teaser shows the OnePlus 15R in black and green colourways. The handset features a square camera deco that looks similar to the OnePlus 15. However, it includes only two rear cameras. The design choice hints at a shift from the triple-camera setup seen on the OnePlus 13R. Additionally, the device carries the Plus Key on the left frame. This key debuted on the OnePlus 13s and OnePlus 15 and supports multiple customizable shortcuts.
Launch Hints and India Strategy
The company has not shared the launch date yet. Still, the early listing indicates that OnePlus wants to push the model into the market soon. The OnePlus 15R is expected to sit between the OnePlus 15 and previous R-series phones. Furthermore, the hardware leaks suggest a significant performance upgrade for Indian users.
Expected Specifications of the OnePlus 15R
Reports claim the OnePlus 15R could be based on the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T. The phone may arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It could also ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The brand may pair it with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
Additionally, the handset is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The battery is rumoured to be massive at 8,000mAh with 100W fast charging support. These leaked specifications place the phone as a strong mid-flagship rival.
What This Means for the OnePlus Lineup
The OnePlus 15R appears to bring the company’s updated design language to a wider audience. It also strengthens the brand’s India-focused R series with fresh hardware and upgraded battery features. Now, the only detail missing is the launch date, which should drop soon as teasers continue.
