NxtQuantum Launches Ai+ Smartphone Series With India’s First Sovereign OS

NxtQuantum Launches Ai+ Smartphone Series in India

Two phones, one goal: data control in Indian hands

On July 8, 2025, NxtQuantum launched its new Ai+ Smartphone brand in India. Led by Madhav Sheth, former Realme India CEO, the company aims to offer a secure and India-first smartphone experience. The series starts with two models: Pulse (4G) and Nova (5G), priced at ₹4,499 and ₹7,499, respectively.

Meet the Ai+ Pulse and Nova Smartphones

NxtQuantum has launched two new smartphones under the Ai+ brand—Pulse (4G) and Nova (5G)—designed for Indian users seeking speed, style, and data control.

The Ai+ Pulse features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals. It runs on the Unisoc T615 processor and supports up to 1TB of expandable storage. Alongside, it includes a 50MP rear camera and a 5,000mAh battery. Buyers can choose from five colour options, and the phone goes on sale from July 12 via Flipkart.

Meanwhile, the Nova 5G offers faster connectivity powered by the Unisoc T8200 chip. It also brings a 120Hz refresh rate on a similar 6.7-inch display. Although it shares the same camera and battery as the Pulse, Nova adds 5G for users who need more speed. The phone will be available starting July 13, also on Flipkart.

Introducing NxtQuantum OS: India’s Sovereign Mobile OS

Both smartphones run on NxtQuantum OS, which the company claims is India’s first sovereign mobile operating system. This new platform empowers users by giving them clear visibility and control over their data—something most global systems do not offer.

As Madhav Sheth, Founder and CEO of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, puts it:
“Ai+ Smartphone is about putting control back in the hands of Indian users.” He further added, “This platform is built with India in mind.”

Data Stays in India, Backed by MeitY-Certified Cloud

To address rising concerns around digital privacy, NxtQuantum ensures that all personal data remains within Indian borders. From app preferences to cloud backups, the system stores everything in MeitY-empanelled Google Cloud Regions, fully complying with Indian data regulations.

Made in India, Designed for India

The Ai+ Smartphones are manufactured locally by United Telelinks (Bangalore) Ltd at their Noida facility. The company built the software to support regional languages, and users can personalise their phone’s interface using the NxtQuantum Theme Designer Tool.

Furthermore, to highlight the “India-first” approach, NxtQuantum selected popular Indian actor Abhishek Banerjee as the brand face. He stars in the first official advertisement, symbolising India’s tech independence and challenging the dominance of Chinese smartphone brands.

Redefining the Indian Smartphone Experience

By combining local manufacturing, sovereign data control, affordable pricing, and Indian representation, NxtQuantum aims to redefine smartphone ownership in the country. With Ai+ Pulse and Nova, the brand promises a mobile experience that is fast, safe, and unapologetically Indian.
