Motorola has launched the Motorola Signature in India, marking the start of a new premium smartphone series. The flagship brings Sony Lytia camera sensors, a 165Hz AMOLED display, Android 16 out of the box, and a long-term software promise. It starts at ₹59,999 and goes on sale from January 30 on Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and offline stores.
With this launch, Motorola signals a direct push into the ultra-premium segment. The company is pairing hardware with a new “Signature” service layer that offers lifestyle and travel assistance worth up to ₹20,000 through a club membership.
What makes Motorola Signature different?
Motorola Signature is not positioned as just another flagship. It introduces bespoke services across travel, dining, wellness, events, and lifestyle. Users must create a Signature club account to access these benefits. The move places Motorola closer to brands that bundle hardware with premium experiences.
Display, performance, and software at a glance
The phone features a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED LTPO quad-curved display. It supports a 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision HDR, and up to 6,200 nits of peak brightness. Corning Victus 2 protects the screen.
Inside, the Motorola Signature runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It offers up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.1 storage. The device ships with Hello UI based on Android 16. Motorola promises seven years of OS updates and seven years of security patches.
A 5,200 mAh battery powers the phone. Motorola includes a 90W fast charger in the box. The device also supports 50W wireless charging.
How capable is the Sony Lytia camera system?
Cameras are central to the Motorola Signature pitch. The rear setup includes:
- 50 MP Sony Lytia 828 main sensor with OIS
- 50 MP Sony Lytia 600 periscope telephoto with OIS and up to 100x super zoom
- 50 MP ultrawide camera

Motorola Signature comes in Pantone Carbon and Olive colours. It has three variants:
