Moto Edge 60 Launching Soon: Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Moto Edge 60 Launches in India on June 10

Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto Edge 60 in India on June 10. The brand has confirmed the date and dropped key design and feature details.

The new Edge 60 will join the Edge 60 Stylus and Edge 60 Pro in Motorola’s growing budget lineup.

Quad-Curved Display with Durable Build

The Moto Edge 60 will sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED quad-curved display. The screen supports HDR10+ and covers 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, which should offer vibrant visuals.

Motorola has also packed IP68 and IP69 ratings. This means the phone can handle dust, water jets, and even submersion in 1.5m water.

Design Carries the 2024 Edge Identity

Teaser images reveal a vegan leather back, a square camera module, and slim bezels. This look matches other Edge 60 series phones launched earlier this year.

The overall feel is premium, even though the Edge 60 sits in the affordable segment.

MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Chipset Inside

As per reports, the Moto Edge 60 will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC. This chip upgrades the Dimensity 7300 used in phones like CMF Phone 1 and Lava Agni 3.

The Edge 60 could pair this with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

Android 15 with Long-Term Updates

Motorola plans to ship the phone with Android 15 and its clean, bloat-free UI. Buyers can expect 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.

That’s a solid promise in the mid-range segment.

Triple 50MP Cameras Expected

Leaks suggest a 50MP Sony LYT700C main sensor with OIS. There’s also a 50MP ultra-wide lens with 3x optical zoom.

For selfies, Motorola might add another 50MP front camera, likely with high-quality video calling features.

Battery and Fast Charging

The Moto Edge 60 could pack a 5,500mAh battery. It might support 68W wired fast charging, which is impressive for a budget device.

There’s no confirmation on wireless charging yet.

Final Thoughts

With a focus on premium design, solid performance, and camera upgrades, the Moto Edge 60 seems set to shake up the mid-range market.

We’ll know more once Motorola officially launches it on June 10.
