Lumio Brings Smart Entertainment to Indian Homes With Arc 5, Arc 7 Projectors

Launched With Netflix & Google TV Support

Lumio introduces its first projectors in India with Google TV and Netflix support, aiming to reshape home entertainment.

First Smart Projectors From Lumio

After launching Vision 7 and Vision 9 smart TVs in April, Lumio has now entered the projector space. On Monday, the company launched the Lumio Arc 5 and Lumio Arc 7 in India. These LED projectors come with native support for Netflix and Google TV, making them a full-fledged smart entertainment option for homes.

Pricing and Availability

The Lumio Arc 5 is priced at ₹19,999 and will go on sale in the last week of July on Amazon. Meanwhile, the Arc 7 is priced at ₹34,999 but will be available for a limited-time Prime Day 2025 offer at ₹29,999 with applicable card deals. It will be up for grabs on Amazon from July 12.

Projection Quality and Screen Size

Both projectors support 1080p resolution and come with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The Arc 5 supports up to a 100-inch screen, while the Arc 7 can go up to 120 inches. In terms of brightness, the Arc 5 outputs 200 ANSI lumens, and the Arc 7 delivers 400 ANSI lumens, promising clear visuals in indoor settings.

Sound and Smart Features

The Arc 5 features a 5W speaker, while the Arc 7 packs dual 8W speakers, delivering louder and fuller sound. Both models support HDR10 and offer smart features like auto-keystone correction, instant autofocus, obstacle avoidance, and smooth trapezoidal recalibration, ensuring hassle-free setup.

Netflix and Google TV Support Built-In

What sets these projectors apart is their official certification for Google TV and Netflix. You don’t need to plug in any external device. Users can stream directly from all major OTT platforms out of the box. They also support L1 Widevine and Netflix ESN, ensuring full HD playback on streaming services.

Hardware and Connectivity

Both projectors are powered by the MediaTek MT9630 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Video format support includes H.264, H.265, VP8, VP9, and AV1, all running smoothly at up to 60fps. Audio formats like Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and FLAC are also supported.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, HDMI 1.5 and 2.0 ports with Dolby passthrough, and USB 2.0 support. Lumio also claims the projectors are completely sealed and dust-proof for long-term durability.

Focus on Home Entertainment Shift

With these launches, Lumio is clearly targeting the rising demand for smart home entertainment setups. As streaming becomes central to how we consume content, projectors like Arc 5 and Arc 7 offer a TV-like experience without a screen. Their compact size and smart OS support make them attractive alternatives to traditional big-screen TVs.

Moreover, Lumio offers a strong offline support network with over 200 service centres across India, giving added confidence to buyers.
