Lava Launches Shark 2 4G in India with 120Hz display and Android 15

Lava has introduced its latest entry-level smartphone, the Shark 2 4G, in India. Priced at ₹6,999, the phone aims to offer a feature-rich experience for budget-conscious buyers.

The smartphone is part of Lava’s effort to strengthen its 4G lineup for users who prefer affordable yet reliable Android devices.

The Lava Shark 2 4G features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is rare in this price range. The screen comes with a waterdrop notch, giving it a clean look.

Lava has also added IP54 certification for dust and water resistance, a useful feature for users seeking durability in daily use. The device will be available in two colour options — Eclipse Grey and Aurora Gold.

Powering the smartphone is the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It also supports 4GB of virtual RAM for better multitasking.
