Lava has launched the Lava Play Max in India, bringing vapor chamber cooling to the budget segment. The company revealed the smartphone on Tuesday, positioning it as a performance-focused option at an affordable price. Lava Play Max starts at ₹12,999, making the launch one of the most interesting mid-December surprises for budget buyers.
A Big Display With Smooth Refresh Rate
The Lava Play Max uses a 6.72-inch FHD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This ensures smoother scrolling and improved gaming visuals. The phone also carries an IP54 rating, which protects it from dust and light splashes. Therefore, users get durable hardware without any premium pricing.
Performance Boost With Dimensity 7300
Lava selected the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset to drive the Play Max. It pairs the processor with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. Users can also extend RAM virtually up to 16GB and expand storage to 1TB using a microSD card. The device ships with clean Android 15, which gives users a smooth software experience.
