Lava brings new budget smartphones for Indian buyers
Lava has launched two new smartphones in India for people who want value without spending too much. The Lava Bold N1 Pro is priced at ₹6,699, while the Bold N1 comes at ₹5,999. Both phones will be sold on Amazon, with the Pro model available from June 2, and the regular N1 from June 4.
These smartphones are made for users who need basic features, good cameras, and large batteries, all at a low price.
What Lava Bold N1 Pro offers
The Bold N1 Pro features a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it smooth for scrolling. It runs on the Unisoc T606 octa-core processor, paired with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. You can also expand the storage up to 256 GB.
It packs a 5,000 mAh battery and comes with a 10W charger in the box, though it supports 18W charging. The phone uses Android 14, giving users the latest software features.
For photography, the N1 Pro has a 50 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera with screen flash. You also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and IP54 protection for dust and splashes.
It is available in Titanium Gold and Stealth Black colour options.
Bold N1: A budget choice with essentials
The Bold N1 is slightly more affordable and suitable for those who need a basic smartphone. It has a 6.75-inch HD+ display and runs on a Unisoc octa-core chip. It also has 4 GB RAM but only 64 GB internal storage, which is fine for light use.
It operates on Android 14 Go Edition, which is designed for phones with limited hardware.
The camera setup includes a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfie camera. Like its Pro sibling, it comes with a 5,000 mAh battery and 10W USB Type-C charging. It also has a side fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and IP54 rating.
You can buy it in Radiant Black and Sparkling Ivory.
Why this launch matters
These phones show that Lava is still committed to making quality smartphones for everyday users in India. Many people do not need expensive devices and just want something reliable for calling, browsing, social media, and basic photography. Lava offers just that, at prices under ₹7,000.
With large batteries, modern design, and the latest Android, both phones give a strong reason to skip second-hand or outdated models. They can be ideal for students, older adults, or anyone switching from a feature phone.
