
Itel’s Entry-level phone introduced at ₹6,499
Itel has launched its new budget smartphone, the Itel A90, in India. The device starts at ₹6,499 for the 64 GB version, while the 128 GB variant is priced at ₹6,999. It is now available at offline retail stores across the country.
Display and design
The Itel A90 features a 6.6-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also includes an always-on display with a dynamic bar that shows essential notifications. The phone carries an IP54 rating for basic protection against dust and splashes.
Processor and software
The smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T7100 octa-core processor. It comes with 4 GB RAM and storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB. It runs on Android 14 Go Edition, which is designed for smoother use on low-cost devices.
Battery capacity and charger
A 5,000 mAh battery powers the phone, and Itel ships it with a 10W charger in the box. This setup is expected to support a full day of usage for regular tasks and apps.
Camera and AI features
The Itel A90 includes a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Both are suitable for basic photography and video calls. The device also supports Itel’s Aivana smart assistant, allowing voice-based controls and queries.
Colours and sale availability
The phone comes in two colours: Starlit Black and Space Titanium. It is available through retail outlets across India.
