ASUS Brings RTX 5050 GPUs to TUF and ROG Strix Laptops in India

On June 24, 2025, ASUS expanded its gaming portfolio in India with three new laptops. The company introduced the TUF Gaming F16 and two ROG Strix G16 variants, each powered by Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. Prices begin at ₹1,24,990.

New ROG Strix G16 (G615): Power and Speed Combined

ASUS equipped the latest ROG Strix G16 (G615) with the Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and RTX 5050 graphics. The 16-inch 2.5K ROG Nebula display supports a 240Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, and full DCI-P3 color accuracy.

It also includes 16 GB DDR5 RAM, a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a large 90 WHrs battery. Gamers will appreciate the 4-zone RGB keyboard that adds a vibrant touch to performance.

ROG Strix G16 (2024) Gets a Refresh

TASUS has upgraded the 2024 ROG Strix G16 (G614) by adding the RTX 5050 GPU. Unlike the new Intel model, this variant runs on the AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, delivering up to 16 TOPS of AI performance.

Moreover, it features a 16-inch WUXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color coverage. The keyboard supports 4-zone RGB lighting and includes a dedicated Copilot key for AI tools.

The refreshed G614 will start at ₹1,44,990, making it an appealing option for creative users and gamers alike.

TUF Gaming F16: Built for Gamers on a Budget

ASUS has designed the new TUF Gaming F16 for value-conscious gamers. It features an Intel Core i5-13450HX processor and RTX 5050 graphics.

The 16-inch FHD+ display supports a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB, offering smooth visuals and accurate colors. ASUS also added a Copilot-ready backlit keyboard and a 90 WHrs battery to round out the package.

This model enters the market at ₹1,24,990, delivering a strong performance-to-price ratio.
