Amazon launches Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen) in India at ₹10,999
Amazon has introduced the third-generation Echo Show 5 in India at ₹10,999. The Alexa-powered smart display now features a sharper screen, built-in camera for home monitoring, and improved audio with double the bass. The device is available in Charcoal and Cloud Blue on Amazon.in, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma.
Smarter display with refreshed design
The new Echo Show 5 sports a 5.5-inch display with infinity cover glass and rounded edges. It offers better visuals and a redesigned interface for easier navigation. Users can check weather, calendars, and smart device status directly from the screen.
Built-in camera for monitoring and calls
The built-in camera enables remote home monitoring through Alexa’s Drop In feature. It supports video feeds from compatible doorbells and cameras. Users can also make video calls to other Echo devices or Alexa app users.
Improved sound for music and audiobooks
Amazon says the 3rd Gen model delivers the best sound ever in an Echo Show 5. A 1.7-inch rear speaker offers 2X bass and clearer vocals. It supports Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, JioSaavn, and Audible for hands-free entertainment.
Alexa makes everyday tasks easier
Alexa helps users manage reminders, alarms, and to-do lists. It also controls compatible smart home devices like lights, fans, and ACs through simple voice commands or on-screen taps.
Faster performance with AZ2 processor
Powered by the new AZ2 Neural Edge processor, the device is faster and more responsive. A better mic array ensures Alexa hears commands even in noisy rooms.
Privacy features built in
Echo Show 5 includes a camera shutter, mic off button, and privacy settings via the Alexa app. Users can view and delete their voice history anytime.
