The Ai+ Nova 2 Series launched in India on Thursday alongside the Nova Flip 5G during the company’s April 2026 event. The lineup includes the Nova 2 5G and Nova 2 Ultra 5G, both featuring large batteries, 50MP cameras, and Android 16 support.

Both smartphones will go on sale via Flipkart starting mid-April.

What is the price of the Ai+ Nova 2 Series in India?

The Ai+ Nova 2 Series targets the budget 5G segment with aggressive pricing across variants.

The Nova 2 5G starts at Rs 8,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model. The 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 10,999. Sales begin April 14 at 12 PM IST.

Meanwhile, the Nova 2 Ultra 5G starts at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB + 128GB version. The 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs 18,999. Sales begin April 17 at 12 PM IST.

Both phones will be available in five color options each via Flipkart.

What are the display and performance differences?

The Nova 2 Ultra 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 2,500 nits peak brightness.

In comparison, the Nova 2 5G includes a 6.745-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Ultra model runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset built on a 4nm process. It supports up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The standard Nova 2 5G uses the Unisoc T8200 processor with Mali-G57 MP2 GPU and supports up to 6GB RAM.

Both smartphones run Android 16 with NxtQ OS on top.

What cameras and battery features do the phones offer?

The Nova 2 Ultra 5G includes a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX752 sensor with optical image stabilization. It also features an 8MP ultrawide camera.

The Nova 2 5G includes a single 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Both devices pack 6,000mAh batteries.

However, charging speeds differ. The Ultra supports 33W wired fast charging, while the standard model supports 18W charging.
