Vivo has launched the Vivo V50 smartphone in India on February 17, 2025. The latest addition to the V-series focuses on premium buyers. Unlike last year’s launch of multiple variants, Vivo has introduced only the base Vivo V50 model this time.

Stunning display and powerful battery

The Vivo V50 features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It boasts an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits, ensuring excellent outdoor visibility.

The smartphone comes with a massive 6,000 mAh battery. It supports 90 W fast charging and includes the charger in the box, allowing quick top-ups.

Performance and software

Under the hood, the Vivo V50 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It is paired with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage. Users will experience a smooth interface with FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15.

ZEISS-tuned triple camera system

Vivo has collaborated with ZEISS to enhance the camera experience. The V50 sports a 50 MP primary camera with OIS for stable shots. Additionally, it features a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, there’s a 50 MP selfie camera, ensuring high-quality images. A soft aura light assists in low-light conditions.

Durability and color options

The Vivo V50 is IP68 and IP69 certified, making it resistant to dust and water. The device is available in three elegant color variants: Rose Red, Starry Night Blue, and Titanium Gray.

Vivo V50 price and availability

The Vivo V50 starts at ₹34,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB variant. The 8 GB/256 GB model costs ₹36,999, while the 12 GB/512 GB version is priced at ₹40,999. The phone will be available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, and retail stores from February 25.
