Redmi has launched the Turbo 5 series in China, led by the Redmi Turbo 5 Max with a huge 9,000mAh battery. The standard Turbo 5 joins it with a smaller body and a 7,560mAh cell. Both phones go on sale today via Xiaomi’s store, targeting users who value endurance, speed, and modern Android features.

What Is New in the Redmi Turbo 5 Series?

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max pushes battery limits into tablet territory. It pairs that size with 100W fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging. The Turbo 5 keeps the same charging speeds but in a lighter frame.

Both phones ship with Android 16-based HyperOS 3. They carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. That places them among the most rugged mainstream phones in this price tier.

Display and Design: Big, Bright, and Built for Media
