Civilization VII Lands on Apple Arcade in February

Civilization VII Brings PC-Scale Strategy to Apple Arcade

Apple Arcade is set for one of its biggest updates this year. On February 5, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Arcade Edition arrives on the service. It brings one of the most iconic PC franchises to iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Players can now build empires anywhere. The game supports cross-device play, so progress carries across screens. Civilization VII introduces a fresh design where empires evolve with each age of human history. Every era reshapes culture, power, and strategy.

Players guide their civilization from early settlements to advanced societies. Each decision influences how an empire grows. The game allows players to follow real history or rewrite it. The goal stays simple. Build the greatest empire the world has ever known.

This marks a major step for Apple Arcade. It joins recent PC arrivals like PowerWash Simulator and Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition. The service now leans deeper into console-grade experiences.

Three New Games Join on the Same Day

Alongside Civilization VII, Apple Arcade adds three new titles on February 5.

Retrocade recreates the golden age of video arcades. It bundles classics like Asteroids, Galaga, Bubble Bobble, and Centipede. Players can step into a virtual arcade using Apple Vision Pro. The games also run on iPhone and iPad.

Felicity’s Door offers a rhythm-driven journey through a dreamlike world. Players travel across space, cliffs, and cyberpunk cities with two siblings and their bear companion. The game blends music, story, and exploration.

I Love Hue Too+ brings back a popular puzzle experience. Players arrange colored tiles into perfect gradients. The game focuses on calm, pattern recognition, and visual flow.

More Updates Across the Arcade Catalog

Apple Arcade also continues its live updates. On January 22, Paddington returns to Crayola Create and Play+ for a limited-time event. Players join the character for winter activities like snowman building and creative crafts.

With more than 200 games, Apple Arcade keeps expanding across genres. The service remains free from ads and in-app purchases. It supports iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.

Civilization VII now stands as its most ambitious addition yet.
