CMF Headphone Pro Launches at ₹6,999, Bring A 100Hr Battery Upgrade In Budget Segment

Key highlights:

  • First overhead headphones from Nothing’s CMF brand
  • 40dB adaptive ANC with Transparency Mode
  • Up to 100 hours of battery life
  • LDAC and Hi-Res audio support

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has entered the overhead headphone space in India. The company launched the CMF Headphone Pro on January 13, targeting entry-level and budget buyers.

The new CMF Headphones work across Android, iOS, and Windows. They support Google Fast Pair for Android and Microsoft Swift Pair for Windows. This makes setup quick across devices.

With this launch, CMF aims to bring premium-style features into an affordable category.

Tactile Controls With Custom Options

The CMF Headphone Pro uses physical controls instead of touch panels. CMF calls this an “intuitive tactile system.”

The Energy Slider adjusts bass and treble. The Roller controls volume and playback. A long press toggles active noise cancellation. Users can also remap these buttons using the Nothing X app.

This design keeps controls simple and reliable during daily use.

Hi-Res Audio and 40dB ANC

CMF Headphones support LDAC and Hi-Res audio. The headphones use 40mm custom dynamic drivers. This setup targets clear output across music, calls, and videos.

The CMF Headphone Pro offers up to 40dB adaptive active noise cancellation. It also includes Environmental Noise Cancellation for calls and a Transparency Mode for awareness.

These features place the headphones in a rare position within the entry segment.

Battery That Stands Out

Battery is a major highlight. CMF claims up to 100 hours of playback without ANC. With ANC enabled, users can still get up to 50 hours.

A quick five-minute charge delivers up to five hours of listening time. This suits users who need fast top-ups before travel or work.

Connectivity and Durability

The CMF Headphone Pro runs on Bluetooth 5.4. Users can manage sound profiles, controls, and updates through the Nothing X app.

CMF has added IPX2 water resistance. This helps the headphones handle light rain and daily wear.

Price and Availability in India

CMF Headphones will retail at ₹7,999. However, the company has introduced them at ₹6,999 for a limited time.

They will be available in Dark Grey, Light Green, and Light Grey. Sales begin on January 20 via Flipkart and offline stores.
