OnePlus Turbo 6 Series China Launch Date Confirmed

OnePlus has officially locked in the launch date for its next Turbo lineup. The OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V will debut in China on January 8 at 7pm local time. Ahead of the launch, the brand has revealed key details through teasers and live previews.

This move signals OnePlus’ push to strengthen its performance-focused lineup. At the same time, it targets users who value battery life and display quality.

OnePlus Turbo 6 Design and Colour Options

Both OnePlus Turbo phones follow a similar design language. They feature a square-shaped camera island on the rear with a dual-camera setup and LED flash. Moreover, the matte-finished frame gives the devices a clean and modern look.

The OnePlus Turbo 6 will be available in black, silver, and a turquoise shade. Meanwhile, the Turbo 6V will come in black and silver options. The frames also appear colour-matched, which adds visual consistency.

The OnePlus Turbo 6 comes with a 1.5K resolution display and a 165Hz refresh rate. This setup targets smooth scrolling and gaming. In addition, the phone carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It pairs with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone also runs Android 16 out of the box and uses an Adreno 825 GPU.

On the camera front, the Turbo 6 packs a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary lens. A 32-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus Turbo 6V: What’s Different Here

The OnePlus Turbo 6V shares many features with the standard model. However, it runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. It also sports a larger 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Both phones feature a massive 9,000mAh battery. They support 80W wired fast charging. Additionally, OnePlus has confirmed 27W reverse wired charging support.
