Poco is gearing up to refresh its popular M-series lineup. The upcoming Poco M8 series is expected to succeed the Poco M7 range. Ahead of any official confirmation, leaked design renders of the Poco M8 Pro and Poco M8 have surfaced online. These images offer an early look at what Poco may bring to the mid-range segment next.
The leak was shared by WinFuture. It suggests that both models could launch as rebranded versions of the Xiaomi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Note 15 Pro. This approach aligns with Poco’s past launch strategy in global markets.
Poco M8 Pro Colour Options and Rear Camera Design
The leaked renders show the Poco M8 Pro and Poco M8 in three colour options. These include black, blue, and a striking dual-tone silver and black finish. The dual-tone variant appears designed to stand out visually while maintaining a clean look.
On the back, both phones feature a squircle-shaped camera module. The module houses three rear cameras. The Poco logo sits on the bottom right corner of the rear panel. Overall, the design looks bold yet familiar for Poco fans.
Front Display, Buttons, and Build Details
At the front, both phones feature a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The bezels around the display appear slightly thick, which hints at a focus on durability rather than minimalism.
The power button and volume rocker are positioned on the right side. The phones may also feature curved metal frames. At the bottom, the renders show a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a microphone opening.
Poco M8 Pro FCC Listing Confirms Battery and Charging
The Poco M8 Pro was recently spotted on the US FCC certification website. It carries the model number 2AFZZPC8BG. The listing reveals some key hardware details.
The phone may pack a large 6,330mAh battery. It could also support 100W wired fast charging. If confirmed, this would make it one of the fastest-charging phones in its segment.
The device is expected to ship with Android 15-based HyperOS 2. Connectivity options may include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, and NFC.
Storage Variants and Expected India Price
According to the leak, the Poco M8 Pro could launch in multiple configurations. These may include 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and a top-end 12GB RAM with 512GB storage option.
Based on global pricing trends of similar Xiaomi Note 15 models, the Poco M8 Pro is expected to cost around Rs 25,000 in India. Higher variants could reach close to Rs 30,000.
