Samsung has officially unveiled the Exynos 2600 — the world’s first chipset built on a 2-nanometre Gate-All-Around (GAA) process. It’s the latest leap in Samsung Foundry’s effort to reclaim its edge in the premium smartphone market. The Exynos 2600 will likely make its debut in the upcoming Galaxy S26 series early next year.

Built for Power, Speed, and Smarter AI

The Exynos 2600 packs a custom octa-core CPU with a top speed of 3.8GHz, combining one powerful C1-Ultra, three C1-Pro, and four C1-Core units. Together, they promise lightning-fast app performance and efficient multitasking.

Samsung integrates the Xclipse 960 GPU, based on ARMv9.3 architecture, with hardware ray tracing for console-level gaming. Paired with the 32K MAC NPU, the chip delivers a stunning 113% boost in AI power and faster generative AI processes for on-device intelligence.

2nm GAA Process Changes Everything

This 2nm GAA design increases transistor density for better energy efficiency and performance. Samsung says the chip offers up to 39% faster CPU performance while cutting power use dramatically.

To reduce heating, Samsung introduces Heat Pass Block technology that improves heat transfer by 16%, keeping phones cooler during intense use.

Ready for Advanced Displays and Cameras

The Exynos 2600 supports 4K and WQUXGA displays at 120Hz, along with up to 320MP single-camera sensors or dual 64MP + 32MP setups. It’s built for 8K 30fps video encoding and decoding, ensuring crystal-clear visuals in every shot.

The chip is also equipped with Exynos Neural Super Sampling (ENSS), an AI-based feature that sharpens images and enhances frame rates in real time.
