GenTabs Build Web Apps From Your Activity

If you study a topic, GenTabs may suggest an app that visualizes ideas. It can help you track concepts or compare details. When you browse recipes, it may generate a meal planner. While you research travel, it can create a trip planner.

These tasks are common today, but Disco builds custom apps on the fly. It uses Gemini 3, your recent browsing, and your chat history. You can refine the app with natural language prompts. Moreover, every generated element links back to the original source.

A New Direction for Google’s Browser AI

Google has been pushing AI deeper into Chrome. Gemini already answers questions about what you are reading. But Disco goes further. It looks across all your open tabs and understands your full browsing flow. Then it builds tools that match your intent.

Early Access Starts on macOS

Disco will first roll out to a small group of testers through Google Labs. Users will need to join a waitlist to download the app on macOS. Google hints that successful ideas may later appear inside larger products.
