Lava Agni 4 Brings VayuAI and Action Key to the Mid-range Segment
Lava has launched the Lava Agni 4 in India at ₹24,999, giving mid-range buyers new AI tools and hardware upgrades. The phone brings the company’s VayuAI suite, which lets users edit, summarise, create, translate, and record quickly. Moreover, it supports Circle to Search for faster on-screen lookups.
A brighter 1.5K AMOLED display with wet touch support
The Lava Agni 4 features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and peaks at 2400 nits brightness. The screen handles wet touch, which helps in rain or sweaty hands. Additionally, the device carries an IP64 rating and includes Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Performance boost with Dimensity 8350 5G
Under the hood, the Lava Agni 4 runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 5G processor. It comes with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. Users can extend memory up to 16GB via virtual RAM. The smartphone ships with Android 15 and gets three years of Android updates along with four years of security patches.
50MP OIS camera with 4K60 support
Lava Agni 4 includes a 50MP main camera with OIS support and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The selfie camera is also 50MP. Besides, both ends shoot 4K video at 60FPS, giving users more creative flexibility while recording.
Customisable Action Key with 100+ combinations
One standout feature is the new Action Key. Users can set over 100 combinations with short, double, or long presses. Therefore, they can launch apps, trigger the torch, switch to vibration mode, or access essential shortcuts instantly.
Battery and sale details
The Agni 4 houses a 5,000 mAh battery with a 66W fast charger included. Lava will sell the phone in Phantom Black and Lunar Mist colours. Sales begin on Amazon starting November 25.
