Fujifilm X-T30 III launches with Film Simulation dial and 6.2K video recording

Fujifilm X-T30 III Launches Globally in November 2025

Fujifilm has announced the global launch of its new mirrorless digital camera, Fujifilm X-T30 III, in November 2025. The latest model continues the X-T30 legacy, known for blending classic design with modern imaging performance.

With a compact 378-gram body and center viewfinder style, the X-T30 III is built for both beginners and photography enthusiasts who want a balance of simplicity and control.

Latest Processor and AI Autofocus for Sharper Shots

The X-T30 III comes equipped with a 26.1MP back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the X-Processor 5 image engine. Fujifilm says the new processor delivers double the processing speed compared to its predecessor, ensuring faster autofocus and reduced power consumption.

The upgraded subject detection autofocus uses AI to track faces, eyes, animals, birds, vehicles, and even drones. This lets users focus on composition while the camera handles the tracking automatically. The X-T30 III can capture up to 425 frames per charge when using its economy mode.

Film Simulation Dial Brings Creative Freedom

A standout addition to the X-T30 III is the new Film Simulation dial—a feature inspired by Fujifilm’s popular X-T50 and X-M5 models.
Users can now switch instantly between 20 Film Simulation modes, including “REALA ACE” for natural tones and “NOSTALGIC Neg.” for warm, soft hues.

The dial includes three customizable positions (FS1–FS3) that allow photographers to save their preferred Film Simulation “recipes.” This helps them quickly access favorite styles for different lighting or moods, creating a smoother, more intuitive shooting experience.

Compact Design with Classic Appeal

The camera retains the same compact form factor as the previous X-T30 II—measuring 118.4mm wide, 82.8mm high, and 46.8mm deep.
Its lightweight body and ergonomic grip make it easy to carry for everyday photography. Fujifilm’s attention to design continues with a pop-up flash, a manual mode lever, and the brand’s signature retro aesthetic that appeals to purists and modern users alike.

The X-T30 III will be available in three color options—Silver, Black, and Charcoal Silver—each maintaining the minimal, vintage-inspired look that defines the X-T series.

Enhanced Video Recording Capabilities

For creators who shoot both stills and videos, the X-T30 III adds 6.2K/30P recording in 10-bit 4:2:2 quality directly to an SD card.
It also supports 4K/60P and 1080/240P high-frame-rate modes, catering to vloggers and filmmakers seeking smooth slow-motion output.

The camera includes electronic image stabilization, which reduces motion blur even when filming handheld or while walking. Combined with its compact design, it’s a capable travel companion for hybrid creators.

User-Friendly Features for All Skill Levels

Fujifilm has kept simplicity at the forefront. The camera includes an AUTO Mode Selector lever that automatically adjusts settings for the scene—ideal for first-time users.
The 1.62-million-dot tilting touchscreen makes shooting easier from high or low angles, while the built-in pop-up flash provides natural lighting support for portraits and backlit scenes.

Additionally, users can wirelessly connect to Fujifilm’s Link series smartphone printers, including the instax mini Link 3 and instax Link WIDE, to print photos instantly. Support for instax mini, SQUARE, and WIDE formats expands creative possibilities beyond digital sharing.

Fujifilm’s Legacy, Refined for the Next Generation

The Fujifilm X-T30 III brings together heritage and innovation in a single device. With its powerful processor, creative Film Simulation dial, 6.2K recording, and classic design, it continues the brand’s tradition of delivering high-quality, easy-to-use mirrorless cameras for all kinds of photographers.

The camera will roll out globally starting November 2025, marking another significant addition to Fujifilm’s popular X Series lineup.
