Samsung on October 10, 2025, unveiled the Galaxy M17 5G in India. It succeeds the Galaxy M16 5G and targets budget-conscious buyers. The phone integrates AI-powered features like Circle to Search and Gemini Live.
The Galaxy M17 5G stands out with Samsung’s promise of six years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates. Additionally, the device carries an IP54 rating, offering dust and splash resistance.

The Galaxy M17 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. Samsung uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the back panel for added protection. The phone comes in Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black shades.
