Samsung expands Galaxy S25 series

Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 FE as part of its Galaxy S25 lineup, which already includes the S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge. With this launch, Samsung aims to attract buyers looking for flagship features at more accessible pricing.

Designed for young AI-focused users

According to Samsung, FE buyers are mostly young and rely heavily on AI tools. Therefore, the Galaxy S25 FE integrates features such as instant slow motion, generative edit, and audio eraser. These functions highlight Samsung’s growing push toward everyday AI adoption.

Display and design

The Galaxy S25 FE carries a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It delivers 1,900 nits of peak brightness and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, Samsung has added Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for stronger protection. The phone also comes with an IP68 rating, ensuring resistance against water and dust.

Battery and charging

Samsung equipped the Galaxy S25 FE with a 4,900mAh battery. In addition, the phone supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. As a result, users can expect faster charging options compared to most mid-range devices.

Processor and software

The device runs on the Exynos 2400 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Furthermore, it comes with One UI 8, built on Android 16. Samsung has also promised 7 years of OS and security updates, which makes the phone stand out in the mid-range category.

Camera setup

Samsung included a triple rear camera setup on the Galaxy S25 FE. It combines a 50MP main lens, a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the front, a 12MP camera handles selfies and video calls. Additionally, the phone can record 8K video at 30fps, adding professional-grade video capability.

Variants and colours

The Galaxy S25 FE comes in Navy, White, and Jet Black colour options. Buyers can choose among 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants. With these choices, Samsung wants to target both casual users and power buyers.
