OnePlus 15 design leaks show big camera change and new colors

OnePlus 15 design leaks

The OnePlus 15 will debut in China in October 2025 and launch globally in early 2026. Ahead of the official unveiling, leaks have revealed renders and specifications that show the biggest design shift in years.

Square-shaped camera module

The OnePlus 15 will drop the circular rear camera island of the OnePlus 13. Instead, it carries a square-shaped camera module with rounded edges. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore shared the render on X, showing three 50MP cameras in this setup.

This design marks a major shift and brings the flagship closer to the aesthetics of rival smartphones.

Premium color options

Leaked images suggest new finishes. The OnePlus 15 may launch in Black, Purple, and Titanium. These shades enhance the redesigned camera layout and offer a premium look for users seeking elegant choices.

Display and performance

The phone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen with 1.5K resolution. It will support a 165Hz refresh rate, delivering one of the smoothest experiences in the smartphone market.

The OnePlus 15 may run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. It could pair with a custom Oryon CPU, Adreno 840 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. A 16MB performance cache may further boost multitasking and speed.

Battery and charging upgrades

Leaks reveal a massive 7,300mAh battery, far larger than most rivals. The handset may support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring quick top-ups even for power users.

Triple 50MP cameras

The camera system is another highlight. The OnePlus 15 may carry a 50MP LYT700 primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. A 32MP front camera is expected for selfies and video calls.

Other features

The device may include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for faster unlocking. Reports also suggest IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing strong resistance against water and dust.

Expected price in India

The OnePlus 15 could cost around Rs 80,000 in India, placing it directly against premium flagships from Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi.
