Sony’s Second-Generation ULT Power Sound series Launches in India
Sony has launched the second-generation ULT Power Sound series in India. The line-up includes the ULT Tower 9, ULT Tower 9AC, ULT Field 5, ULT Field 3, and the ULTMIC1 wireless microphone. Prices start at ₹14,990, with the range designed to deliver deep bass and immersive sound for music lovers and party setups.
Price and Availability
The ULT Tower 9 costs ₹84,990, while the ULT Tower 9AC is priced at ₹69,990. Sony has listed the ULT Field 5 at ₹24,990 and the ULT Field 3 at ₹17,990. The ULTMIC1 wireless microphone is available for ₹14,990. Customers can purchase the products through Sony retail stores, the ShopAtSC portal, leading electronics outlets, and major e-commerce platforms.
As part of the launch offer, Sony includes a wireless MIC worth ₹19,990 with every ULT Tower 9 or ULT Tower 9AC purchase.
ULT Tower 9 and Tower 9AC Features
Sony equips both tower models with ULT Power Sound technology, offering two bass modes—ULT1 and ULT2—for flexible listening. They feature 360 Party Sound and lighting effects to enhance gatherings. Moreover, both support karaoke, guitar connectivity, and a TV Sound Booster for a richer entertainment experience.
The ULT Tower 9 delivers up to 25 hours of playback and supports quick charging. In contrast, the Tower 9AC provides the same audio features but works in a plug-and-play setup. To improve usability, both models include a water-resistant top, a built-in handle, wheels for mobility, and Party Connect to link up to 100 compatible speakers.
ULT Field 5 Features
Sony designed the ULT Field 5 for outdoor use. It offers IP67-rated protection against water, dust, shock, and saltwater. The speaker runs for up to 25 hours on a single charge and includes a multi-way strap for portability. Additionally, it provides a 10-band custom equaliser and Party Connect support. Users can also pair it with multiple devices and control settings through Sony’s Sound Connect app.
ULT Field 3 Features
The ULT Field 3 keeps many of the Field 5’s features but in a smaller size. It still delivers ULT Power Sound, offers IP67 protection, and supports Party Connect. This model provides up to 24 hours of battery life, a multi-way strap, a custom equaliser, and multi-device pairing options.
ULTMIC1 Wireless Microphone Features
Sony built the ULTMIC1 for its ULT party speaker range. It produces clear vocals while reducing background noise. The Duet Assist feature balances audio levels when using two microphones at once. The device runs for up to 20 hours, charges via USB, and supports quick charging for 120 minutes of use from just a 10-minute charge.
