Oppo K13 Turbo Series With Inbuilt Cooling Fan Launches in India

Oppo has launched the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro smartphones in India. Prices start at ₹27,999 for the base K13 Turbo and ₹37,999 for the K13 Turbo Pro. Sales for the Pro model begin on August 15, while the Turbo variant will be available from August 18. Buyers can get a ₹3,000 instant discount on select bank cards and up to nine months of no-cost EMI.

Key Specifications

Both models feature a 6.80-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits brightness. The K13 Turbo runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the Turbo Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. Storage options go up to 256GB with up to 12GB RAM. They ship with Android 15-based ColorOS 15.0.2 and will receive two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.

Camera and Cooling

The phones come with 50-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary rear cameras. For selfies, they sport a 16-megapixel front camera. Both handsets have a 7,000 sq mm vapour cooling chamber, air ducts, and an inbuilt fan for thermal management. Oppo also introduced a Turbo Back Clip external cooling accessory priced at ₹3,999.

Battery and Durability

The K13 Turbo series packs a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and bypass charging support. The handsets carry IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance ratings and feature in-display fingerprint scanners.

Connectivity Options

Connectivity includes 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The base and Pro models weigh 207g and 208g, respectively, with dimensions of 162.78×77.22×8.31mm.
