Samsung Foldables Leak Ahead of Launch: Key Specs of Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE Revealed

Samsung Foldables Leak Ahead of Launch

Key specs for Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE surface online

With Samsung’s Unpacked event just around the corner on July 9, a new leak has given us an early look at what’s coming. Shared by Roland Quandt from WinFuture, the leak includes full specifications of Samsung’s upcoming trio of foldable phones — the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and the all-new Z Flip 7 FE.

All of this in the last couple of posts is from official Samsung promo materials

Z Fold 7 gets lighter and slimmer

Samsung’s Z Fold 7 will be significantly thinner than previous models. It measures 4.2mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded.
At 216 grams, it may become the lightest book-style foldable yet. That’s despite a larger 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8-inch inner screen.

Samsung retains the 4,400mAh battery from the Fold 6. The phone will run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite and offer 256GB or 512GB storage options.
A 1TB version may also launch in select regions. Quandt confirmed a 200MP main camera, though full camera details remain unknown.
It will launch in blue, black, and silver color options.

Z Flip 7 introduces wraparound display

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature a bold redesign. It will sport a 4.1-inch cover screen that wraps around the dual cameras.
Quandt shared images showing a look similar to recent Motorola Razr phones.

The Flip 7 will include a 4,300mAh battery, slightly smaller than the Fold 7’s but still larger than past Flip models.
It retains the 50MP main camera, with the same storage and color options as the Fold 7.

Flip 7 FE offers an affordable alternative

Samsung plans to launch a more budget-friendly option with the Z Flip 7 FE.
This model will come with 128GB or 256GB storage, paired with a 4,000mAh battery.

Quandt claims it will share screen sizes with the Flip 7, including the wraparound cover display.
However, this contradicts earlier reports that said it would reuse the Flip 6’s design.
Samsung may offer it only in black and white finishes.

Galaxy Watch 8 lineup also appears in leaks

Alongside the foldables, Quandt also leaked images of the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic.
Both watches will adopt the squircle-shaped body, first seen on the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

What to expect at Galaxy Unpacked 2025

Samsung will officially unveil its new devices on July 9. While the rumored trifold phone has appeared in patents and teasers, Quandt’s leak includes no mention of it.
It’s likely Samsung may tease it during the event without a full launch.

For now, the leaked foldable lineup gives a clear preview of what’s coming. The upgrades look substantial — in both form and function.
