London-based tech startup Nothing has officially announced the upcoming Phone 3a series, scheduled for launch on March 4, 2025. This move marks Nothing’s continued commitment to offering innovative yet user-friendly smartphones.
What to Expect from Nothing Phone 3a Series?
Nothing has confirmed that the Phone 3a series will focus on the core user needs—camera, screen, processor, and design. Unlike flagship models, the 3a series is expected to cater to users who seek a balanced and smooth smartphone experience without necessarily demanding the highest specifications.
“For the (a) Series, we have a different set of users. When people buy a smartphone, some are looking for the greatest specs, they want the latest innovations and processors. Yet there are some other users that are equally excited about tech but are happy with just a great user experience – that’s who the (a) Series is for,” said Akis Evangelidis, Nothing’s co-founder.
Possible Features of Nothing Phone 3a Series
The series is likely to include two models: Phone 3a and, for the first time, a Pro variant. Some rumored features include:
- Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15 for a refined user experience.
- Enhanced telephoto camera capabilities for better photography.
- Potential mix of MediaTek and Qualcomm processors.
Exclusive Flipkart Partnership
Nothing has partnered with Flipkart for the Phone 3a series launch. A dedicated notify-me page is now live, allowing interested buyers to stay updated.
Nothing Crosses $1 Billion in Revenue
Apart from the upcoming launch, Nothing has hit a significant milestone—surpassing $1 billion in lifetime revenue since its founding in October 2020. Notably, over half of this revenue came in 2024, showcasing Nothing’s rapid growth in the tech industry.
“We entered 2024 with the aim to build on the successes of Phone (2) and Ear (2), with Phone (2a), Phone (2a) Plus, and CMF Phone 1. We brought those products to market and started to build scale around the business. That obviously gives us amazing top-line revenue growth. It’s super exciting to have achieved that and we’re excited to see what we can achieve in 2025,” said Tim Holbrow, Nothing’s Chief Financial Officer.
