Alcatel V3 Series Arrives in India: Budget Smartphones with Big Displays, Stylish Features

Alcatel V3 Phones to Go on Sale in India on June 2

Alcatel has made a comeback in India with three new smartphones — the V3 Classic, V3 Pro, and V3 Ultra. These phones will be available on Flipkart starting June 2. The French brand has partnered with Flipkart for both sales and after-sales service, handled by Jeeves across 300 cities.

All three smartphones come with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip and are made in India by Dixon’s Padget Electronics. Alcatel has kept young users in mind, aiming to offer something fresh and functional in the budget smartphone space.

V3 Classic is for Everyday Users

The Alcatel V3 Classic is ideal for people who want a simple phone with all the basics. It has a 6.67-inch HD+ screen that’s big enough to watch videos and play games. The phone runs on Android 15 and comes with two RAM options — 4 GB and 6 GB — both with 128 GB storage.

The camera setup includes a 50 MP main camera and a very basic secondary lens. There’s also an 8 MP front camera for selfies. It packs a 5,200 mAh battery, but the 10 W charger means it won’t charge super fast.

With an IP54 rating, it can handle a few water splashes. The starting price of ₹12,999 makes it suitable for students and first-time users.

V3 Pro Brings a Better Screen and Camera Setup

For those who read a lot on their phones or enjoy browsing, the Alcatel V3 Pro offers a better experience. It features a 6.67-inch HD+ NxtPaper display, which is softer on the eyes. This phone is also powered by Android 15 and comes in a single variant — 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage.

The rear camera setup includes a 50 MP main lens and a 5 MP ultrawide camera. The 8 MP selfie camera is decent for casual shots and video calls. It has a slightly smaller 5,010 mAh battery compared to the V3 Classic but doesn’t compromise on performance.

Priced at ₹17,999, the V3 Pro is suitable for college students, digital readers, and everyday users who want a smoother experience.

V3 Ultra Offers Stylus and High-End Camera for Creators

The most premium in the new lineup is the Alcatel V3 Ultra. It targets users who enjoy creating content or multitasking. This phone comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ NxtPaper display and supports a stylus that is included in the box. The stylus is useful for drawing, taking notes, or editing images.

The V3 Ultra has the best camera of the three. It features a 108 MP main lens, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2 MP macro camera. The front camera is a high-quality 32 MP shooter, making it a good pick for selfie lovers and video creators.

The phone is powered by Android 14 and has a 5,010 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging. You can choose between 6 GB or 8 GB RAM, both with 128 GB storage. It starts at ₹19,999 and comes in stylish colors like Hyper Blue, Champagne Gold, and Ocean Grey.

Alcatel Aims to Fill the Gap in the Budget Smartphone Space

With this launch, Alcatel is clearly trying to carve out a space among Indian smartphone users who want reliable features without spending a lot. While many phone brands focus on premium specs and prices, Alcatel’s strategy is to deliver practical features at fair prices.

Also, by choosing to manufacture in India and partner with Flipkart and Jeeves, the brand shows it understands the needs of Indian customers. Quick delivery, affordable pricing, and wide service support are part of its value offering.

As the market gets ready for June 2, it will be interesting to see how users respond to Alcatel’s comeback.
