Vivo has introduced the Buds Clip in Europe, expanding its clip-style earbuds beyond China. The company first launched the open-ear TWS earphones in China in September. The new model combines a lightweight clip design with high-resolution wireless audio, AI-backed call features and real-time translation. Vivo claims up to 42 hours of playback with the charging case.

Vivo Buds Clip price and availability

The Vivo Buds Clip cost EUR 179 in Europe, roughly Rs. 19,000. They are available in Aurora Purple and Stardust Black. Vivo has not announced India pricing or availability yet.

Open-ear design and audio features

The earbuds use a clip-style, open-ear design instead of sitting inside the ear canal. A flexible titanium-alloy bridge wraps around the ear and keeps each bud in place. Each earbud weighs around 5.2g, while the rounded charging case includes a USB Type-C port.

Vivo has equipped the Buds Clip with 12mm dual-magnetic moving-coil units. They support Hi-Res Audio Wireless and the LDAC, AAC, SBC and LC3 codecs. DeepX 5.0 stereo sound, spatial audio and custom EQ settings give listeners more control over playback.

Users can choose Balanced Mode, Voice Enhancement Mode or Noise Reduction Mode. These options help adjust listening based on the environment and content.

Real-time translation and connectivity

The Buds Clip support real-time translation during conversations across multiple languages. For calls, Vivo uses bone-conduction-based AI noise reduction to help reduce surrounding sounds. The earbuds also offer AI-powered broadcasting for alerts and other information when paired with compatible Vivo and iQOO devices.

Bluetooth 5.4 enables connection to three devices at once, including phones, tablets and computers. Vivo claims latency as low as 70ms. Compatible Vivo and iQOO devices also receive customised pairing pop-ups and personalised images or stickers for pairing and charging screens.

The earbuds work with Vivo’s BlueOS ecosystem. Other features include Find My Earbuds, intelligent volume adjustment and wide-area touch controls.

Battery life and durability

Vivo says the Buds Clip can deliver up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge. The charging case extends claimed total battery life to 42 hours. A 10-minute charge can provide up to three hours of playback, according to the company.

The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. This should help them handle sweat and light splashes, though the rating does not make them waterproof.

More details are available on Vivo’s official website.
