Oppo is preparing to bring its latest flagship smartphone to India, with the Find X10 Pro Max scheduled to launch on October 22. The company has confirmed that the handset will debut with MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, making it India’s first smartphone with the processor.
The upcoming flagship will also feature a triple 200-megapixel rear camera system developed with Hasselblad tuning. Oppo has positioned the device around high-end processing, photography and its latest Android-based software.
The Find X10 Pro Max will launch alongside the Oppo Find X10, Oppo Pad Mini Matte Display edition and Oppo Enco X4 true wireless stereo earphones.
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max processor and software
Oppo has confirmed that the Find X10 Pro Max will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. Built on a 2nm process, the octa-core processor features two prime cores with peak clock speeds of up to 4.55GHz.
The company will pair the chipset with its Laminar Flow Engine. Oppo has not yet shared detailed benchmark scores or independent performance comparisons for the Indian variant.
The smartphone will run ColorOS 17 based on Android 17. Oppo says the handset will be India’s first phone to launch with this software version.
The combination of a new flagship processor and updated software will be central to the phone’s performance proposition. Real-world results, however, will depend on thermal management, software optimisation and workload demands.
Triple 200-megapixel rear cameras confirmed
The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max will feature three 200-megapixel rear cameras with Hasselblad tuning. This includes the main, ultra-wide and telephoto cameras.
The primary camera uses an f/1.5 aperture, a 1/1.3-inch ISOCELL HPC sensor and optical image stabilisation. It also supports an Ultra HDR configuration.
The 200-megapixel ultra-wide camera features an f/2.2 aperture, a 13mm focal length and autofocus. The telephoto camera uses an f/2.1 aperture and a 1/1.56-inch ISOCELL HP5 sensor. It also includes optical image stabilisation.
Oppo says the camera system uses its LUMO Hyper Pixel and LUMO True Image engines. These technologies are intended to support the phone’s imaging capabilities, although independent testing will be needed to assess the results.
For selfies and video calls, the handset will feature a 50-megapixel front camera with a 100-degree field of view.
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max India launch and availability
Oppo will launch the Find X10 Pro Max in India on October 22. The company has confirmed that the phone will be available through Flipkart.
