TEMPT has launched the Cinelite, a compact 16W RMS sound bar designed for personal entertainment spaces. The speaker is available at a special launch price of ₹1,099, against its listed MRP of ₹1,699.
Buyers can purchase the TEMPT Cinelite through TEMPT India and Amazon India. The company is targeting users who want better audio for music, movies and everyday listening without investing in a larger speaker system.
TEMPT Cinelite specifications and features
The Cinelite delivers 16W RMS stereo output through two 52mm full-range drivers and dual passive radiators. TEMPT says this setup produces fuller sound and deeper bass from its compact enclosure.
Users can place the sound bar beside a laptop, under a television or on a bedside table. It is also designed for music playback, podcasts and casual listening.
The speaker’s actual sound quality will depend on room acoustics, placement and listening volume. Its 16W RMS rating describes audio output, but does not independently establish bass depth or overall sound quality.
Bluetooth 6.0 and multiple playback options
The TEMPT Cinelite supports Bluetooth 6.0 for wireless playback from compatible smartphones, tablets and laptops. The company specifies a wireless range of up to 10 metres.
Users can also connect devices through the AUX input. USB and TF card ports provide additional options for playing stored music without relying entirely on Bluetooth.
The range of connections could make the Cinelite useful across different setups. For example, users can connect a compatible television or laptop through AUX and switch to wireless playback for music from a phone.
TWS pairing and portable design
The sound bar includes True Wireless Stereo (TWS) functionality. Users can pair two compatible Cinelite units to create a stereo setup, potentially providing a wider soundstage than a single speaker.
TEMPT says the Cinelite weighs 590g, making it easy to move between rooms or carry in a backpack. Its ABS body and metal grille give it a compact design suited to desks, shelves and bedside tables.
The speaker also carries an IPX4 splash-resistance rating. This offers protection against splashing water under specified test conditions, but does not make the device waterproof or suitable for submersion.
A built-in microphone supports hands-free calls, while voice assistant support allows users to interact with compatible devices through supported commands.
Battery life and charging
The TEMPT Cinelite packs a 1,800mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The company claims up to eight hours of playback on a single charge, depending on volume levels and usage.
Charging takes approximately four hours through its USB Type-C port. Battery life may vary with volume, connection type and other operating conditions.
Is the TEMPT Cinelite worth considering?
At its launch price of ₹1,099, the TEMPT Cinelite offers several practical features in a portable format. Its 16W RMS output, multiple playback options, TWS pairing and hands-free calling make it an option for users seeking a compact speaker for personal spaces.
However, buyers should consider their main use case before purchasing. Those looking for a replacement for a dedicated home theatre system may need a larger setup, while users seeking a desk or bedside speaker may find the Cinelite’s compact design more convenient.
Its appeal ultimately depends on real-world sound quality, battery performance and how well its connectivity options fit the user’s devices.
