The X Fold 6 is priced at ₹2,19,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. It is currently available for pre-booking and will go on sale from October 13 through Vivo’s India e-store.

The foldable comes in Nebula Teal and Prism Black finishes.

Vivo X Fold 6 gets two 120Hz AMOLED displays

The Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED display. It has a 2,504×2,312-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The panel offers 424ppi pixel density and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. It also supports HDR and 300Hz touch sampling.

When folded, users get a 6.51-inch AMOLED cover display. It has a 1,120×2,528-pixel resolution and also supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

This setup gives the X Fold 6 a large canvas for productivity and media consumption. At the same time, the cover screen is designed for regular smartphone use without opening the device.

Dimensity 9500 Super powers the foldable

Under the hood, the Vivo X Fold 6 uses MediaTek’s 3nm Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset.

It is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The combination positions the foldable firmly in the flagship segment.

The phone runs Android 17-based OriginOS 7 out of the box.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C. The phone also supports NavIC along with other satellite navigation systems.

200MP Zeiss camera leads the setup

Vivo has equipped the X Fold 6 with a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera system.

The setup is led by a 200MP primary camera with an f/1.68 aperture and optical image stabilisation. It is joined by a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.

The telephoto camera supports up to 100x digital zoom. The phone can also record video at up to 8K resolution.

For selfies and video calls, both the inner and cover displays feature 20MP cameras.

6,900mAh battery supports 80W charging

Battery capacity is another major highlight of the Vivo X Fold 6.

The phone packs a 6,900mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging. This is particularly notable for a foldable, where manufacturers often have to balance battery capacity with weight and thickness.

Despite the large battery, the X Fold 6 weighs around 228g. When folded, it measures 157.16×74.26×9.40mm. When unfolded, its thickness drops to 4.40mm.

IP58 and IP59 ratings add durability

The Vivo X Fold 6 carries IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance.

For security, it gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with face unlock.

Vivo is also offering several launch benefits with the foldable. Buyers can get up to ₹26,400 instant cashback, while exchange benefits and no-cost EMI options are also available.

The company is additionally bundling three months of Google AI Pro with purchases. Pre-booking customers will also get priority access to Vivo Vision experience zones.

With its large displays, flagship chipset, 200MP camera and unusually large battery, the Vivo X Fold 6 enters India’s premium foldable segment with a strong focus on both performance and endurance.
