OpenAI is offering select users in India a chance to try ChatGPT Plus for free for one month.
The promotion gives eligible users access to the paid ChatGPT tier without paying the usual ₹1,999 monthly subscription fee during the promotional period.
However, there is an important catch. The offer is not available to every ChatGPT account.
If the promotion is available on your account, the ChatGPT Plus subscription page should show a “Claim free offer” option. The price should also change from ₹1,999 to ₹0 for the promotional month.
How to claim the free ChatGPT Plus offer
The process is relatively straightforward.
First, sign in to ChatGPT using the account you want to use for the promotion. Then open the subscription or upgrade section and look for the ChatGPT Plus plan.
If your account is eligible, you should see the promotional offer showing a price of ₹0 for the first month.
