Jio has announced a limited-period anniversary offer on its JioBharat 4G feature phones in India. As part of the company’s 10th anniversary celebrations, eligible JioBharat devices are available for Rs. 1,499 with six months of connectivity benefits included.
The offer combines the handset with unlimited HD voice calls and 14GB of data every month. Jio says the deal is aimed at making the transition from 2G to 4G more affordable.
JioBharat 4G Phones Price and Offer Details
Under the anniversary offer, eligible JioBharat 4G phones cost Rs. 1,499. The price includes six months of complimentary recharge benefits.
Users get 14GB of data every month during this period. The package also includes unlimited HD voice calls.
However, Jio has not specified which JioBharat models are eligible for the offer. The company says the deal is available for a limited period and comes with applicable terms and conditions.
Jio Says Effective Phone Cost Is Rs. 299
Jio is also highlighting the effective cost of the handset after accounting for the bundled connectivity.
The company estimates that a 2G user spending around Rs. 199 per month would spend nearly Rs. 1,200 on recharges over six months.
With six months of connectivity included in the Rs. 1,499 package, Jio puts the effective handset cost at Rs. 299.
The offer is being rolled out during the festive season as part of Jio’s anniversary campaign.
JioBharat Phones Target 2G Users
Jio is positioning the offer as a way for existing 2G users to move to 4G without paying separately for a phone and connectivity.
JioBharat devices provide access to several services beyond calls and messaging. These include entertainment, digital payments and family-focused features.
The phones support services such as JioTV, JioHotstar and Jio’s music offerings. JioTV provides access to more than 500 TV channels, while JioHotstar includes live cricket, movies and other entertainment content.
JioBharat Phones Support UPI Payments
The JioBharat lineup also supports digital payments through JioPay. Users can access UPI payments, payment alerts and Sound Box functionality.
For families, Jio includes Jio Safety Shield with safe-calling features. Location-monitoring tools are also available to help family members keep track of each other.

JioBharat B1 and B2 Could Match the Offer Specifications
Jio has not officially confirmed the eligible models. However, the specifications mentioned for the offer match the JioBharat B1 and JioBharat B2.
