Vivo V80 is set to launch in India on October 6. Ahead of the launch, a new leak has suggested the possible price of the upcoming V-Series smartphone.

The company has already confirmed several specifications. These include a 144Hz OLED display, a Zeiss-backed camera system and a large 7,200mAh battery.

However, Vivo has not officially announced the India price yet. The leaked information should therefore be treated as unconfirmed until the launch.

Vivo V80 Price Leak Suggests ₹60,000+ Price

According to tipster Ahsan Kharbai, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant could carry a box MRP of ₹1,19,999. However, the box MRP is typically higher than the actual selling price.

The tipster claims that the Vivo V80 could launch in India at a price above ₹60,000. Vivo has not confirmed either figure.

The reported configuration could pair 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The leak also points to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Vivo V80 Gets a 144Hz OLED Display

Vivo has confirmed that the V80 will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness.

The phone will also feature a one-piece cold-carved glass design. A floating camera module will sit on the rear.

On the software side, the Vivo V80 will run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. This will bring Vivo’s latest software experience to the upcoming V-Series phone.

Three 50MP Zeiss-Tuned Cameras

Photography will remain a major focus of the Vivo V80. The phone will feature three 50-megapixel cameras, with Zeiss tuning across the setup.

The rear system includes a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel Night Telephoto camera. The phone also gets a 50-megapixel Group Selfie camera on the front.

Vivo says the camera system supports 3x optical zoom and up to 100x zoom. It can also record 4K Cinematic Video and 4K video at 60fps.

The company has also confirmed AI-focused imaging features. These include AI Creative Camera, Live Sticker Collage and AI Diwali Portrait 2.0.

The leak, meanwhile, claims the phone could feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Vivo has not confirmed this specification.

7,200mAh Battery With 90W Charging

The Vivo V80 will pack a 7,200mAh battery. It will support 90W FlashCharge technology for faster wired charging.

Vivo claims the battery can deliver up to 14 hours of navigation. It can also provide up to 39.5 hours of local video playback.

The reported battery capacity is one of the notable specifications of the upcoming phone. It could appeal to users who prioritise longer battery life.

Vivo V80 India Launch Date and Colours

Vivo has confirmed that the V80 will launch in India on October 6 at 12pm IST. The phone will be available in three colour options.

These include Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black. Vivo will sell the smartphone through its India website, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail channels.

The company is yet to reveal the official price. Until then, the reported ₹60,000-plus pricing remains a leak rather than a confirmed launch detail.
