Dyson has expanded its vacuum cleaner lineup in India with the new V16 Piston Animal. The cordless vacuum focuses on stronger suction, easier dust disposal and improved hair management.
The Dyson V16 Piston Animal uses a 900W Hyperdymium motor. It delivers up to 315AW of suction. The company also claims a 50 percent power increase over its previous-generation Hyperdymium motor.
The vacuum is available in a single Black Copper finish. It is priced at ₹79,900 in India and is available through Dyson’s official website and stores.
Dyson V16 Piston Animal Gets a New Anti-Tangle Cleaner Head
One of the biggest changes comes with the All Floor Cones Sense cleaner head. It uses two conical brush bars designed to prevent long hair from wrapping around the brush bar.
The cleaner head can also detect changes between floor types. It automatically adjusts suction power and brush bar rotation speed based on the surface.
The design combines the functions of Dyson’s Digital Motorbar and Fluffy cleaner heads. Therefore, users can clean carpets and hard floors without changing the main cleaner head.
The cleaner head also gets LED illumination. This helps highlight dust that can be difficult to spot under normal lighting.
315AW Suction With Dynamic Cyclone Technology
The V16 Piston Animal is powered by Dyson’s new 900W Hyperdymium motor. It can deliver up to 315AW of suction for demanding cleaning tasks.
Dyson has also added Dynamic Cyclone technology. In Boost mode, the system activates five additional cyclones when the vacuum needs more suction.
The company says the vacuum can provide up to 70 minutes of fade-free suction in Eco mode on hard floors. Users can also purchase an additional swappable battery for longer cleaning sessions.
CleanCompaktor Bin Compresses Dust and Debris
Dyson has redesigned the dust disposal system with its CleanCompaktor bin. The system compresses collected dust and debris inside the bin.
According to Dyson, this allows the bin to hold up to three times more dust and debris compared with a non-compacted setup. The company has also redesigned the inside of the bin so its surfaces are wiped clean as it empties.
This could make frequent emptying less cumbersome, particularly for homes dealing with significant amounts of dust, hair and debris.
Whole-Machine HEPA Filtration for Cleaner Air
The Dyson V16 Piston Animal comes with a five-stage whole-machine HEPA filtration system. Dyson claims it captures 99.99 percent of particles as small as 0.1 microns.
The filtration system is paired with the cleaner head’s illumination system. Together, these features are designed to make everyday cleaning more thorough while helping users spot fine dust.
The vacuum also comes with a Crevice Tool for narrow spaces and edges. A Hair Screw Tool 2.0 is included for picking up and detangling long hair and pet hair.
MyDyson App Support Comes to Dyson Vacuums in India
The V16 Piston Animal is also the first vacuum in Dyson’s India portfolio to support the MyDyson app. The connected experience gives users access to additional settings and maintenance alerts.
The app can also provide step-by-step guidance for cleaning and maintaining the vacuum. This adds a connected layer to a category that has traditionally focused mainly on hardware and cleaning performance.
At ₹79,900, the Dyson V16 Piston Animal sits firmly in the premium cordless vacuum segment. Its combination of 315AW suction, an anti-tangle cleaner head, dust compression, long runtime and app connectivity makes it one of Dyson’s more feature-packed launches in India.
