Canva is expanding its Visual Suite with a major set of new features across Docs, Sheets, Whiteboards, Presentations and Websites. The company has announced several new tools aimed at making content creation, collaboration and data work easier from a single platform.

With this update, Canva says it has launched more than 100 Visual Suite features in 2026. The company also highlighted its growing user base in India, where more than 70 percent of users reportedly create designs through the mobile app.

Canva says users now create more than 1 billion designs every month. That includes around 1,000 Docs, 3,000 Presentations and 5,000 social media posts every minute.

Canva Docs Gets More Visual Controls

Canva is making Docs more flexible with new visual layouts and formatting controls. The update adds full-page designs that let users move beyond traditional text-heavy documents.

The company is also introducing Automatic Page Breaks and new styles. As a result, users can create more visually structured documents without relying on separate design tools.

This could make Docs more useful for people who want to combine written content with stronger visual presentation.

Canva Sheets Adds AI-Powered Data Tools

Canva Sheets is also getting a significant upgrade. The platform is adding new AI capabilities that can help users analyse data and turn it into charts and tables.

Whiteboards also get one-click reactions. In addition, users can now transform a Whiteboard into a Presentation or Doc with a single click.

Presentations and Websites Get New Controls

Canva Presentations is getting a one-click presenting option. It also adds an estimated presenting timer, which can help users plan how long they should spend on each part of a presentation.

Meanwhile, Canva Websites is getting additional SEO and domain controls. The company is also expanding button options to give users more control over website elements.

Together, these updates expand Canva’s role beyond graphic design. Users can now create and manage more types of content within the same Visual Suite.

India Remains an Important Canva Market

Canva also highlighted its growing usage in India. According to the company, India has the largest Visual Suite user base in South Asia.

More than 70 percent of Canva users in India create designs using the mobile app. This shows the importance of mobile creation for the platform in the country.

The company has also reported strong overall usage. Canva says its Presentation tool now has more than 100 million monthly users, while the wider platform generates more than a billion designs each month.

New Canva Features Roll Out Globally
