Fire-Boltt has entered India’s smartphone market with the launch of the Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo. The two phones mark the first smartphones from the company’s new Boltt sub-brand and target the budget segment with large batteries, 120Hz displays and Unisoc processors.
Both smartphones feature a 6.79-inch HD+ LCD display and a 6,000mAh battery. However, the Ace 5G offers a more powerful chipset, a higher-resolution primary camera and 5G connectivity.
Boltt Ace 5G, Boltt Evo Price in India and Availability
The Boltt Ace 5G starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 14,999, while the top-end 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 15,999.
Meanwhile, the Boltt Evo starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB configuration. Its 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 11,999. As part of a Day 1 offer, the company is offering a Rs. 1,000 discount on both phones across all variants.
Both smartphones will go on sale from September 1 via Flipkart.
The Boltt Ace 5G comes in Arctic White, Burgundy Bliss, Forest Green, Lavender Bloom, Midnight Black and Sky Blue. The Boltt Evo is available in Arctic White, Berry Red, Lavender Bloom, Midnight Black and Sky Blue.
Boltt Ace 5G, Boltt Evo Specifications and Features
Both Boltt smartphones run Android 16 and feature a 6.79-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of peak brightness.
The Boltt Ace 5G uses an octa-core Unisoc T8200 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Users can expand the storage by up to 1TB using a microSD card. Boltt claims that the Ace 5G scored more than 5,47,000 points on AnTuTu.
The Boltt Evo, meanwhile, uses the octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also supports microSD cards up to 1TB. The company claims the phone scored more than 3,90,000 points on AnTuTu.
For photography, the Ace 5G features a 64-megapixel primary rear camera alongside an unspecified secondary sensor. The Evo gets a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Both phones feature an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
6,000mAh Battery Powers Both Boltt Phones
Both the Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo pack a 6,000mAh battery. However, only the Ace 5G supports 18W wired fast charging.
The Ace 5G also supports 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C connectivity. Both smartphones measure 170×77.71×8.5mm and weigh around 233 grams.
